When People Ask me what I do for a living I say I'm a Photographer but my Daily job takes up most of my time and puts food on my table :) (looking to change that!) My Photography occupies %99 of my free time and have taken me to some beautiful places in the world and I am forever grateful for that.
My goal is to establish a creative look that people will pay for, a look that is No Doubt identified as CaptainStevePhotography.
A Happy customer is your best advertising, when you take care of a client and you not only deliver but you over deliver, having that they will tell people about you. I don't want to meet your expectations but beat your expectations.
I try to be a historian and not a photographer. I like to capture the emotion of the day, its the unscripted things that happen I shoot to capture which more often are the wall hangers. Anyone can own a DSLR camera but the Camera is a tool, the most important part of that tool is 12 inches behind it, my job is to tell the story. I never stop learning Photography, the minute you stop learning it becomes boring.
People generally, don't make decisions based primarily on reason, but on emotion. Photography can be used to create that emotion.
